Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF) will take place this year at a new venue - the Cultural Zone of Expo 2023 Doha.

From November 20 to 25, the annual event will be held under the theme 'Environment and Sustainability'.

A diverse range of artistic experiences will be offered at the QIAF, one of the largest art festivals in the country and the region.

Visitors will be treated to a rich tapestry of artistic expressions over the course of 12 distinct events.

Exhibits include painting and sculpture, the Youth International Art Exhibition, Qatar cultural tours, a panel discussion show, an art conference, masterclasses, creative art workshops, live painting demonstrations, a sustainable and artistic fashion show, a cultural musical evening, networking dinners, and awards ceremonies.

QIAF's director Rashmi Agarwal said: "QIAF isn't just an art festival, it's an emotion." The event is expected to bring together more than 300 artists from more than 65 countries."

There will be eight sessions at the festival, covering topics such as unique techniques, technology with art, artificial intelligence with art, colour therapy, musical rhythm with art, skills enhancement for participants, and digital art.

Art panel discussion on 'The science of art, towards sustainability and environmental responsibility' is expected to attract a number of eminent personalities.

A total of 325 artists from over 65 countries participated in last year's festival, held at the Katara Cultural Village.
