On October 11, Wednesday, through October 14, Saturday, Lusail Boulevard's main road, which hosted some major public events during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, will be closed to traffic.

This closure is in preparation for events at the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), according to Lusail City's official Instagram account.

Moreover, Lusail City shared a map showing which roads will be closed and which will be open to traffic during the closure. 

GIMS Qatar 2023 will transform the iconic Lusail Boulevard into an urban playground from October 12-14 between 5pm and 10pm. 

The 'Parade of Excellence' will feature up to 100 unique cars cruising the Boulevard for spectators to admire. The event is scheduled to run on October 12, between 7pm and 9pm. 

There will be something for everyone at the Urban Hub with a parade of excellence, spectacular action, live performances all around, and a buzzing village area. Let the party begin!” wrote GIMS on its website.
