The General Tax Authority (GTA) officially launched the Dhareeba application as part of its efforts and strategies to transform the country, improve service quality, and introduce advanced digital services that connect it with taxpayers around the clock.

H.E. President of the GTA Ahmed bin Eisa Al Mohannadi stressed that the launch of the Dhareeba application represents a significant milestone and represents a translation of the wise leadership of the country. Qatar's support for digital transformation is crucial to creating a knowledge-based economy in which individuals actively participate in the development of it.

With the new application, the GTA can streamline tax operations with enhanced speed, precision, and transparency by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge digital services. With Dhareeba, users can track their requests directly, easily access communication channels, and quickly contact the appropriate GTA departments for inquiries and assistance, said HE President of the GTA.

Users of iOS and Android devices will be able to gain access to a wide range of services available through the Dhareeba Tax Portal through the new application.

In addition to its sophisticated interface and user-centric design, the application is designed to ensure speed, ease of use, and procedural clarity for users.

Among the noteworthy features are a simplified tax return submission process for eligible companies, a payment service, a refund request service for damaged or lost excise goods, and an intermediate excise goods refund service.

Furthermore, the application provides taxpayers with the ability to notify the GTA of their intention to export, re-export, or receive excisable goods. The program also facilitates the request for instalments, the repayment of unlawfully collected amounts, the exemption from financial penalties, and the issuance of tax residence certificates.

An engaging presentation explored the Dhareeba application, its functions, and key services during the inauguration.

It is an extension of the Dhareeba Tax Portal (dhareeba.gov.qa), which connects the General Tax Authority with its partners in relevant government agencies and taxpayers.
