
Safari, the best known retail chain for bringing extraordinary promotion every time, has made a special place in customers' hearts with their unique promotion, Go Green Grow Green. The idea of this promotion is to support organic farming and making people connect and live in harmony with nature.
This promotion was inaugurated by the Director of Agricultural Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), Yusuf Khalid Al Khulaifi, in the presence of Safari Group Chairman, Hamad Dafer A A Al Ahbabi; Chief Coordinator Shaheen Backer and Safari team on Wednesday at Safari Mall, Abu Hamour.
During the inaugural ceremony, Safari’s Green Club was also launched and the event was organised with adherence to the government social distancing norms. Customers can buy vegetable and fruits seedlings; orange, lemon, coriander, mint, curry leaves, ornamental plants like hanging plants of various colour and shapes that can be planted indoors and outdoors.
This is made available to the valued customers to promote green initiatives and for improving gardening practices. In addition to seeds, Safari Go Green Grow Green has a variety of pots, garden tools, fertilisers and soil for the customers.
Safari Green Club, a new initiative by Safari was launched at the same ceremony by Director of Agricultural Affairs Department, Yusuf Khalid Al Khulaifi. The club aims to influence the expatriate customers who are living in a limited space to share their love for nature and motivate those who are interested in home gardening. The Green Club comprises of an expert panel, Safari members and those who have proven expertise in the field of agriculture and are experienced professionals in the field of agro-culture.
Time to time, Safari will conduct special training, webinars and several competitions for the club member where they would get the opportunity to win attractive prizes. Efforts are also being made to set up special counters at Safari outlets for Safari Green Club members to buy and sell their farm produce.
