The Supreme Committee for Crisis Management in Qatar has announced the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed by the spread of the Corona Virus – Covid 19 virus through four phases, starting next Monday.
The spokesperson for the Qatari Supreme Committee, Lulwa Al-Khater, told a press conference today, Monday, that the first phase of gradual mitigation will begin next week, while the second phase will begin by the first of next July, with the third stage to start on the first of August and the fourth and final stage on the first of September.

Al-Khater said that the transition from one stage to another “is subject to the indicators, the facts and the data, with the possibility of postponing this transition if things do not go the right way.”
She stated that the first stage will be during the gradual opening of mosques, taking into consideration all the precautionary measures already taken by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in a number of mosques.

She indicated that the second stage during which the number of mosques will be increased and the circle expanded, while the third stage, in which the number of mosques will also be increased, will witness the establishment of Friday prayers at 54 mosques, while the fourth stage will open all mosques.

She noted that with regard to gatherings, it will be allowed to gather no more than 10 people starting from the second stage, while the third stage will allow gathering for a number not exceeding 40 people, provided that in the fourth stage, gatherings are allowed according to certain controls and capacity according to what the professional authorities estimate in Back then.
Regarding the movement of travel and aviation, she indicated that starting from the first stage, flights outside of Doha will be allowed for the absolute necessity, and everyone who returns to the hotel stone will be subjected to his own expense for a period of two weeks or in one of the quarries designated by the Ministry of Health at his own expense as well.
The spokesperson stated that the third stage, during which flights from low-risk countries will be allowed, is for priority travelers such as residence permit holders, who will be subjected to quarantine for a full two-week period.

However, she added, during the coming period, all details related to the reservation, the permissible countries and the groups considered to be priority will be announced.
She said that the fourth stage of the lifting of restrictions plan will see, in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Public Health, the expansion of flights and the limited operation of public transportation such as the metro and buses.
She explained that with regard to parks and public parks, a limited number of parks will be opened in the first stage of exercise and children at that stage under the age of 12 will not be allowed to enter these facilities.
She added that children will be allowed to go to parks and gardens in the second stage, during which all parks, beaches and corniche will be opened, while in the third stage, play and skiing fields will be opened, while in the fourth stage, camps, summer clubs and cultural activities will be allowed.
Al-Khater touched on the details of the stages of the gradual lifting of restrictions and conditions related to health, education, training and professional sports, as well as the procedures and requirements for opening stores in shopping centers in the first phase, which “should not be less than 300 meters and not exceed the capacity of the complex by 30 percent.”
And indicated that in the second stage, it will be allowed to open all shopping centers for limited hours and specific capacity, while the full opening of shopping centers will be in the third phase for limited hours as well. ”
The spokesperson stated that the fourth stage will witness the full opening of shopping centers as well as the gradual opening of markets and wholesale markets with capacity limited and specific hours starting from the second stage to be opening full in the fourth stage.
regarding the restaurant sector , it said Al Khater would be the opening of a limited and partial restaurants starting from the second stage with the proportion of low work while will raise the occupancy rate in phase III and IV.
As for the sector Work and employees, the current work capacity is 20 percent, to rise from the second stage to 50 percent, and then rise in the third stage to 80 percent, to reach its full capacity in the fourth stage.
She stressed that gradual lifting does not in any way imply no application or complacency in following precautionary measure.
