Doha: Indian Embassy announced that there will be 17 additional flights to India from Qatar as part of the phase 4 of the repatriation mission in July.

There will be 4 additional flights to Mumbai, 3 to Lucknow, 3 to Hyderabad, 3 to Chennai, 3 to Bangalore and 1 to Kochi. All the flights will be operated by IndiGo, an Indian budget airline.

Indian Embassy had earlier advised in a tweet to book seats directly online on these flights with their EOID number, which is provided while registering on embassy website. 

The Indian External Affairs ministry had first announced 193 flights in July-August, which was later trimmed down to 51 flights. An embassy source said that this was to streamline the operation as per the demand and will keep adding more flights as per requirement.
