Doha: The mascot for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year.
As per Qatar Calendar 2021, the mascot launch will be held in February 2021.
It also said that the 2022 World Cup Countdown will happen in November.
Two Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums - Ras Abu Aboud Stadium and Al Thumama Stadium - are likely to be inaugurated in May 2021 along with Amir Cup.
It also mentioned that the 80,000-capacity Lusail Stadium, which will host the Qatar 2022 final, is scheduled to open in December 2021.
