MoPH Reported 235 Covid-19 Cases And 221 Recoveries In Qatar On Sept 11

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 235 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 221 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 118,199

Out of the 235 new cases, 227 are community cases and 8 from travellers returning from abroad.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 121,287 and there are 2883 active cases under treatment. So far, 205 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

Ministry conducted 4071 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 680633  tests. There are 43 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital to 375.

Seven patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 50.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:
- Adherence to physical distancing.
- Avoid close contact with others, crowded places, and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
- Wearing a face mask.
- Washing hands regularly.
