Doha: Ezdan Hotel West Bay, one of the hotels under Ezdan Holding Group, has organised one-day blood donation drive in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). The hotel staff and guests showed great interest in the campaign, in which a significant number of donors flocked and actively contributed. 

This drive is part of the Hotel’s contribution to the field of social responsibility and community service. The hotel management has designated “Lazurd Hall” to establish the blood donation unit, and provide the necessary facilities for HMC’s medical staff, as well as the necessary logistical support to successfully complete the campaign.

The campaign organizers were keen on educating and directing donors through instructions, as well as distributing meals suitable for blood donation cases, and the medical team undertook the registration of donors and the necessary procedures, while the hotel staff supervised organizing the queues of donors and encouraging employees to participate.

The management stated: “At Ezdan Hotel West Bay, we believe in the importance of making a positive contribution to the community, and not only limiting our activities and endeavours to reach excellence in the hospitality sector. From this point, we partnered with HMC to encourage our staff to donate and raise awareness on the benefit blood donation brings to our local community and beloved country, and we undertake to continue our support for a better future”.
