A draft decision regarding granting residence permits to individuals without a recruiter for certain categories was approved by Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting on Wednesday.
During the Cabinet meeting held in the Amiri Diwan, various topics were discussed. As part of its briefing, the Cabinet was informed that the Shura Council had approved a draft law amending some provisions of the Trade Law promulgated by Law No. 27 of 2006.
Ratification was carried out by the Cabinet as follows:
1. An MoU for cooperation in the field of sports between Qatar and the Kyrgyz Republic.
2. A cooperation agreement between Qatar and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of veterinary medicine.
3. An MoU for cooperation in the field of youth between Qatar and Tajikistan.
4. An agreement for cooperation in the legal field between Qatar and El Salvador.
5. An agreement for cooperation in the legal field between Qatar and Nepal.
In addition, the cabinet approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding between Qatar and Cyprus on higher education cooperation.

The annual report for 2022 on the results of the work of the Competition Protection and Antimonopoly Committee.
Two reports on the results of the ninth ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the sixth session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS).
A report on the results of the sixth session of the Qatari-Kazakh Joint Higher Committee.
A report on the results of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change’s visit to Algeria.
