Qatar Customs Issues Notices To Travellers Regarding Personal Luggage And Gifts

On 24 October 2023, the General Authority of Customs issued a notice to travelers arriving in the country via air, land, and sea.
A traveler must comply with customs procedures when bringing luggage or gifts, the value of which cannot exceed QR 3,000 or its equivalent in other currencies, and the luggage or gifts must be of a personal nature and not for commercial purposes.
Travellers are advised to familiarize themselves with the relevant customs procedures and laws for luggage intended for commercial use, available on the official website.
