On 6 July 2024, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) in Qatar issued the following guidelines for worshippers to consider when around mosques.

Wear decent clothes. Do not wear nightwear or unclean clothes.

Maintain personal hygiene.

Place shoes in the designated places so as to not prevent the worshipers, especially the elderly.

Take into consideration the rationalization of water consumption during ablution.

Do not tamper with the mosque's equipment (air conditioners, lights, acoustics).

Handicap facilities and parking are only for spaces with special needs.

It is not permitted to use the parking lot outside of prayer times.

Do not throw tissues and waste in places other than those designated for them.

Do not stand in front of the doors of the houses adjacent to the mosque.
