Doha: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced that it has activated “Remote Working” procedures in line with the protective measures taken by Qatar to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This step which will come into effect as of Monday, March 16, 2020, will enable the QOC staff to complete their daily duties and to connect to essential systems, services and applications of the QOC.

The QOC was keen to set up emergency plans and mechanisms that secure successful “remote working” procedures as the step came after testing these procedures properly.

“The QOC is committed to protecting the health of all community members as it has taken a number of decisions as part of the national effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19),” a statement said
