Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 471 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 332 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 154,752.

Out of 471 new cases, 427 are community cases and 44 from travellers returning from abroad.

87-year-old died due to Covid-19 taking the total death toll to 260.

The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 165,071 and there are 10,059 active cases under treatment.

6,337 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (10,575 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,557,031 tests.

There are 89 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total number of patients in the hospital to 749.

Eight were admitted to intensive care in the last 24 hours, and so 110 people continue to receive medical attention in ICU.
