Doha: The weather charts indicate that the country will be affected by southeasterly to southwesterly winds with light to moderate speed on Friday, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in their weather report. 

The wind is also expected to shift northwesterly with fresh to strong speed over most areas from Friday afternoon until Sunday. The wind speed will range from 14-234 KT gusting to 30 KT in some areas. The wave heights will also range between 6-10 FT rising to 13 FT in some areas sometimes. 

The weather will also be mild during daytime with blowing dust to dusty sometimes most especially in open areas. 

From Friday night, temperature will also slightly decrease with the minimum ranging between 10-18 degrees Celsius in various regions of the country during the weekend. QMD also stated that apparent temperatures will be less due to the fresh northwesterly wind with maximum temperature ranging between 21-26 degrees Celsius. 

QMD called on all citizens and residents to take extra precautions during this weather conditions.
