5. At Hamad, a Gestational Diabetes Test (GDT) will be conducted as a routine check.

6. At around 38 weeks of pregnancy, a tentative date for delivery is given.

7. Husbands are not allowed to accompany their wife during delivery in most of the public hospitals, but it depends on the hospital you choose. For example, At     Sidra Hospital, the husband can stay with wife both during natural birth and C-section, if it is a natural birth the they also allow up to two people.

8. Depending on the condition after the delivery, the mother and baby are moved to a room. In public hospitals, the mother and baby are usually get discharged      after a day or two.
