
As part of its efforts to modernise digital assets and launch innovative, personalised, and data-driven experiences, Qatar Tourism won three awards at the MENA Digital Awards.
MENA Digital Awards promote digital innovation and media in the region. Qatar Tourism won Best Web Platform, Best Application (Mobile/Tablet), and Best Use of Digital in the Travel, Sport, and Entertainment Sector at the event.
In addition to its quality, UX approach, technology, degree of customisation, multi-platform adaptation, utility, and more, Qatar Tourism's Visit Qatar website won the Best Web Platform award. The Best Application (Mobile/Tablet) award highlights the original and innovative approach showcased by Qatar Tourism’s Visit Qatar mobile application. Finally, Qatar Tourism was awarded Best Use of Digital in the Travel, Sport, and Entertainment Sector for its use of digital channels to deliver a holistic brand experience.

In the Visit Qatar mobile application, users can experience the destination through innovative formats such as 360-degree videos, as well as data-driven, catalogued and inspiring experiences. Visit Qatar's website and mobile application are available in eight languages: English, French, Italian, Arabic, German, Turkish, Spanish, and Mandarin.
By tailoring content based on user preferences, Qatar Tourism has been able to deliver more targeted, timely, and customised communications to travellers.
