
DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates will reopen all of its land, sea and air entry points with Qatar starting Saturday, state news agency (WAM) reported on Friday. Saudi Arabia announced a breakthrough in ending the Gulf dispute at a summit on Tuesday, with its foreign minister saying Riyadh and its allies would restore all ties with Doha, which wa severed in mid-2017.
Saudi also opened the airspace, land and sea border with Qatar on Tuesday and Qatar Airways began rerouting several flights through Saudi Arabian airspace from yesterday.
The new development comes after the Gulf leaders signed the Al-Ula "solidarity" agreement during the GCC summit held in Al-Ula on Tuesday.
